Compressed air spray that emits a hissing sound to interrupt unwanted dog behaviour.
The Pet Corrector by Company of Animals releases, with a short press, an odourless jet of compressed air that produces a hissing sound. According to the manufacturer, this sound mimics the warning hiss of certain animals and helps interrupt unwanted behaviour (barking, jumping up, food stealing...) in order to redirect the dog and reward them.
The manufacturer states that this is an education tool and not a punishment. It is available in 30, 50 and 200 ml.
- Odourless compressed air jet

Features
Ideal for: Interruption of unwanted behaviours, with reward method
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Utilisations approximatives (fabricant) | 30 ml ≈ 30, 50 ml ≈ 50, 200 ml ≈ 200 one-second bursts |
| Bouchon | Built-in safety, sealed for first use |
How to use & tips
As soon as the unwanted behaviour occurs, give a single short press (approx. 1 second) from at least 1 m away from the animal, directing the spray away from them: only the noise should interrupt them. As soon as they stop, give a command (e.g. "calm") and then reward them. On first use, a firm press is required to break the cap seal.
Our tips
Always associate the interruption with a command and then a reward. This tool should be used with caution, ideally on the advice of a dog trainer or vet; it does not replace reward-based training.
Precautions
Never direct the spray at the animal or their face. Do not spray continuously or use the can upside down. Always test from at least 3 m first and stop if the animal shows signs of distress. Not recommended for young puppies and anxious dogs, and do not allow children to use. Extremely flammable aerosol, pressurised container: follow safety instructions on the label.
