The Baskerville Ultra muzzle is made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), a material that is both strong and flexible. Its basket shape allows the dog to pant, drink and eat a treat while wearing it.
The straps and the edge in contact with the snout are lined with soft neoprene. According to the manufacturer, the muzzle can be softened in hot tap water and then shaped to widen the fit.
It is suitable for long walks as well as situations where the dog needs to be temporarily muzzled (grooming, convalescence to prevent them from licking a wound).
- Strong and flexible TPE
- The dog can pant, drink and eat
- Straps and edge lined with neoprene
- Moldable fit with hot water (according to the manufacturer)

Size guide
Choosing the right size
Measure the snout circumference at the widest point (usually just below the eyes) and the snout length, from the tip of the nose to just below the eyes. The dog must be able to open its mouth to pant freely.

How to use & tips
Adjust the neck strap (and the forehead strap if applicable): they should be snug without being tight. The muzzle should not touch the eye area and there should be a gap of about 1 cm between the end of the nose and the basket.
Our tips
Gradually accustom the dog to wearing the muzzle, with short sessions combined with rewards.
Precautions
Do not leave the muzzled dog unsupervised. Allow the muzzle to cool after shaping in hot water before putting it on the dog.
