ORIJEN Kitten is a protein-rich kibble recipe (40%) for kittens of all breeds. It combines fresh chicken, turkey, raw salmon, whole herring and mackerel, giblets and eggs, with about two-thirds of the ingredients being fresh or raw according to the manufacturer.
The recipe contains approximately 90% animal-sourced ingredients and 10% vegetables, fruits, and botanicals, with no added grain, potato, tapioca, or plant protein concentrates. The kibble is coated with freeze-dried liver for enhanced palatability.
DHA and EPA from fish and pollock oil support brain development and cognitive function according to the manufacturer, and chicory root provides prebiotics. Formulated in accordance with FEDIAF levels for growing kittens.
