Small dog kibble
Small, easy-to-chew kibble sized for dogs under 10 kg, from ACANA, Bravery, Amity, Orijen and Lupus Expert.
Small dog food: choosing the right bite size
A small dog has a faster metabolism than a large one and needs a smaller kibble piece. Our small dog food range brings together "Mini" and "Small Breed" recipes from ACANA, Bravery, Amity, Orijen and Lupus Expert, from Iberian pork to chicken, fish or red meat recipes.
How to choose kibble for a small dog
Start with the kibble shape: a "Mini" or "Small Breed" piece is easier to chew than a standard-size recipe. Then compare which meat or fish tops the ingredient list, and match the recipe to your dog's profile, whether lively, prone to weight gain or simply fussy. Sensitive dogs often do well on a grain-free recipe; if you are ever unsure about your dog's weight or health, ask your vet.
Switching food, storing it, and the subscription
Change food gradually, blending the old and new kibble over about ten days. Many of these recipes also come as a two-bag pack, handy for small dogs that get through a bag slowly, with each bag working out cheaper. Our optional "auto-delivery" subscription saves 5% and can be paused or cancelled whenever you like.
Rounding out daily feeding
A slow-feeder bowl helps a small dog that gulps its kibble too fast, a useful habit alongside picking the right kibble size. Always leave fresh water available, topped up daily, and stick to regular meal times rather than free-feeding all day. If your dog's activity changes, for instance after neutering, reassess the portion you give rather than keeping the same amount out of habit.
