Camon: accessories and treats for dogs and cats
Camon is an Italian brand with a very wide catalogue covering both dogs and cats: harnesses and collars, squeaky plush toys, washable hygiene pants, biscuits and snacks, tough chew toys, and cardboard scratchers for cats.
How to choose a Camon harness or collar
For a dog harness, check the chest measurement given on the product page rather than your dog's usual size, since fit varies between models. Leather collars suit dogs already used to a lead, while adjustable versions grow with a puppy.
Chew toys and scratchers: keeping your pet occupied
For dogs, tough Camon chew toys such as the TPR "Sucette" keep the most determined chewers busy. For cats, the ball-track scratcher or the square scratching mat give a surface to scratch without wrecking the sofa, with separate refills available to extend their life.
Making harnesses, toys and scratchers last
Before buying a harness or collar, measure your dog rather than going by breed alone: two dogs of the same breed can have a different chest size. For chew toys, match the size and toughness to your dog's build and bite strength, and take the toy away once it starts fraying. For cats, offer both horizontal and vertical scratching surfaces, to suit each pet's own preference. A mix of textures, carpet, sisal and cardboard, also helps keep a cat's interest over time.
